Special Gulaman |
Serves 4 to 6 Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 10 minutes -
excluding refrigeration time
GRAB: 2 cups water, 1 bar unflavored gulaman (around 7 to 10
grams), shredded, 1/4 cup sugar (or 6 sachets sugar substitute; we used
splenda), 1 (7-gram) sachet unflavored gelatin powder (we used knox), 1
teaspoon banana flavoring
MAKE: 1- combine water. Shredded gulaman and sugar (if
using) in a saucepan. Bring to a boil until gulaman melts. 2- Add gelatin powder and remove from heat. Add splenda (if using); 3- add banana flavoring.
Pour into an 8x8-inch glass pan. Let cool to room temperature, then chill for 4
to 6 hours or until set. Cut into bite-sized squares then transfer to an
airtight container. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Serve cold
