Overnight Oats |
Prep Time 5 minutes, plus overnight soaking time
GRAB: 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2
cup milk, low-fat or regular, 1 tablespoon raisins, 2 dates, chopped, nuts and
fresh fruit for topping the next day (we used strawberries, bananas, and
walnuts), honey to taste
MAKE: combine oats, yogurt milk, raisins, and dates in a
serving bowl. Mix until everything is fully incorporated and there are no lumps
of yogurt left and then covers with cling wrap and refrigerate overnight. The
next morning give your oats a stir. Top with nuts and fresh fruit. Sweeten to taste
with honey. Serve cold
TIP: Instead of raisins and dates you can substitute your
favorite dried fruits. you can also add wheat germ or chia seeds, Just make
sure to always use old-fashioned rolled oats, and add the dried fruit the night
before and the fresh fruit right before eating
