Tuna Burgers ingredients: 1 (425-gram) can tuna in brine,
drained, then flaked. 2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed (see
tip). 1/2 fresh breadcrumbs. 2 green onions. finely chopped. 1 egg, lightly
beaten. 2 tablespoons chopped parsley. 1 tablespoon lime juice. Salt and pepper,
to season. 1 tablespoon oil.8 round bread rolls or hamburger buns, split. 1
butter lettuce leaves separated. 2 tomatoes, sliced
Ingredients for the mayonnaise: 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 1
tablespoon lime juice. 1 tablespoon wasabi paste
Tuna Burgers recipe: 1- In a large bowl, combine tuna,
potatoes, breadcrumbs, onions, egg, parsley, and juice. Mix well and season to
taste. 2- Shape tuna mixture into 8 even-sized, flattened patties. Arrange on a
try, cover, and chill until required. 3- Heat oil in a large frying pan on
medium. Fry patties in 2 batches for 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until
golden. Grain on paper towels. 4- Make the mayonnaise: In a small bowl, mix
mayonnaise, juice, and wasabi together. 5- Fill buns with lettuce leaves. Tomatoes
and patties. Add a dollop of mayonnaise. Serve with lime wedges
Tip: To make mashed potatoes, cook peeled potatoes in a pan
of boiling salted water for about 20 minutes until tender drain and mash
