Crispy Calamari and Aioli Buns recipe and ingredients

For a different take on the usual hotdog bun, we swapped out the sausages for some squid! If you'd like to add more zing to your aioli, mix in 1 teaspoon grated lime zest and 1 tablespoon lime juice

Make 4 Prep Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 10 minutes

Crispy Calamari and Aioli Buns ingredients: 1/4 cup seasoned flour. 2 cups squid cleaned and sliced into rings. Oil for deep-frying. 4 mini baguettes split lengthwise. 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated. Potato chips, to serve

Ingredients for the Aioli: 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 garlic clove, crushed

Crispy Calamari and Aioli Buns recipe: 1- Place seasoned flour in a large bowl. Add calamari, tossing to coat. Shake off excess. 2- Heat oil in a large frying pan on high. Fry calamari in batches for 2 to 3 minutes, until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels. 3- Spread aioli on rolls. Top with lettuce leaves and calamari. Serve with potato chips
