Chocolate french toast ingredients: 8 thick slices brioche. 1/2 cup (165g) chocolate-hazelnut spread. 2 eggs. 100ml thickened cream. 1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar. 2 tsp ground cinnamon. 40g unsalted butter
Methods of cooking
To make chocolate french toast, Thickly spread 4 brioche slices with the chocolate-hazelnut spread, then top with remaining 4 slices to make 4 sandwiches. In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs and cream. Combine the sugar and cinnamon on a plate and set aside. Melt half the butter in a large frypan over medium-high heat. Dip 2 sandwiches into the egg mixture, soaking well on both sides, then cook for 2-3 minutes each side until golden. Toss in cinnamon sugar to coat. Keep warm while repeating with remaining butter, sandwiches and cinnamon sugar. By then, the Chocolate french toast is ready
