For us Pinoys, no meal is ever complete without rice. This
December, add a few vegetables to everyone's favorite mealtime staple to punch
up the flavor and give the dish a welcome pop of holiday hues
Christmas Fried Rice |
Serves 4 to 6 Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 5 minutes
Christmas Fried Rice ingredients: 1/4 cup butter. 1/2 cup
finely chopped onions. 1/2 cup finely chopped celery. 1/2 cup chopped red bell
peppers. 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper. 3 cups cooked rice. Salt and
pepper, to taste
Christmas Fried Rice recipe: 1- In a large sauté pan, melt
butter, sauté onions and celery until onions are translucent. Add bell peppers
and continue to cook until vegetables are tender. 2- Add cooked rice and mix
until thoroughly combined. Season with salt and pepper
