Peanut Brittle Bars |

Peanut Brittle Bars ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1
cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon
salt. 250 grams butter, chopped
Ingredients for peanut brittle: 1 and 1/2 cups sugar. 3/4
cup glucose syrup. 1/3 cup water. 40 grams butter, chopped. 1/4 teaspoon baking
soda. 2 cups roasted peanuts
Peanut Brittle Bars ingredients: 1- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease
and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper. 2- Combine flour, sugar baking
soda, cinnamon, and salt in a food processor. Add butter and pulse until
mixture comes together. Press firmly into pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
3- Make the peanut brittle: In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar,
glucose, and water. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil.
Boil without stirring for 8 to 10 minutes until light golden. Remove from heat
and stir butter and baking soda through. 4- Return mixture to heat. Bring back
to a boil without stirring until a candy thermometer reaches 300 to 310F (the
hard crack stage). Remove from heat and stir roasted peanuts through. Pour over
base. 5- Use a sharp knife to score surface into 18 rectangles. When almost
set, cut into slices. Allow peanut brittle bars to set completely at room
temperature. Store in airtight containers
