Glazed Vegetables recipe and ingredients

The honey called for in this recipe boosts the natural sweetness of the vegetables. Kick it up with some orange juice and zest for an invigorating twist

Serve 6 to 8 Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 40 minutes

Glazed Vegetables ingredients: 1/2 cup butter. 200 grams carrots peeled and sliced into half-moons. 1 cup honey. Zest and juice from 1 orange. 200 grams zucchini peeled and sliced into half-moons. 200 grams plums, sliced into half-moons. Salt and pepper, to taste

Glazed Vegetables recipe: 1- In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add carrots, honey, orange zest, and juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes or until sauce is thick. 2- Add zucchini and plums; continue to cook until vegetables are tender. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper

Tip: If plums are not in season, simply increase the quantity of the carrots and zucchini to 300 grams each
