Here's an all-in-one dish that everyone will rave about:

Fish Pie with Mashed Potato Crust |
Serves 5 Prep Time 20 minutes Baking Time 40 minutes
Ingredients for the mashed potato crust: 4 to 5 large
potatoes, boiled, peeled, and mashed (around 4 cups mashed potatoes). 4 tablespoons
butter. 2 eggs, lightly beaten. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Ingredients for the fish casserole: 2 eggs. 1(305-gram) can
condensed cream of mushroom soup (we used Campbell's) 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1
tablespoon butter, plus extra for greasing dish. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2
onions, finely chopped. 1/2 kilo white fish fillet or salmon fillets. 1 egg,
lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water or milk
Fish Pie with Mashed Potato Crust recipe: 1- Preheat oven to
390F. 2- Make the mashed potato crust: In a large bowl, mix together all
ingredients until smooth and well incorporated. Set aside. 3- Make the fish
pie: In a bowl, beat eggs, and then mix in mushroom soup and breadcrumbs. 4-
Melt butter in a small frying pan. Sauté garlic and onions until fragrant. Add
to mushroom mixture. 5- Lightly brush an ovenproof baking dish with butter.
Pour a third of the mushroom mixture into the dish to make an even layer. 6-
Arrange fish fillets evenly on top of mushroom mixture. Pour remaining mushroom
mixture over fish. 7- Spread an even of mashed potatoes on top of the fish to
form a crust. Smoothen top and brush with egg wash. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes
or until top turns golden brown
